Closing Ceremony of the YES Program at the Joint School of Design and Innovation
On March 26, 2025, the closing ceremony of the Young Envoys Scholarship (YES) Program was held at the auditorium of the Milan Building at iHarbour. The YES scholarship program, promoted by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), was created to foster an environment that allows young people to travel and discover China.
This year, the YES Program welcomed 60 Italian students from various universities, offering them the opportunity to first visit Xi’an or Chengdu, followed by Beijing. The program allowed them to engage with their Chinese peers, visit universities such as Xi’an Jiaotong University, and experience university life in China.
During their five-day stay in Xi’an, the students participated in numerous cultural activities, including a visit to the Terracotta Army, a tour of the ancient city walls, a theater performance, and Chinese calligraphy lessons.
With the success of this edition, the YES Program continues to be a valuable opportunity for Italian students interested in immersing themselves in Chinese culture and academia, fostering intercultural dialogue and international cooperation.
