2021 Richard B. Schultz Best Transaction Paper Award

On August 2021 Xiaokang Liu, currently researcher at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of Politecnico di Milano (DEIB), has received the Richard B. Schultz Best Transaction Paper Award announced by the IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society for the best paper published on the IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility Journal for the year 2020.

  • Paper: “Physically-Based Modeling of Hand-Assembled Wire Bundles for Accurate EMC Prediction” (authors: Xiaokang Liu, Flavia Grassi, Giordano Spadacini, Sergio Pignari).
  • Xiaokang Liu is an Alumnus of the Master Double Degree program Polimi-XJTU who decided to carry out his academic career at Politecnico.

On the same month, the research team guided by Professor Jinjun Liu of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), has received the Best Transactions Paper Award by the IEEE Power Electronics Society for one among the four best papers published on IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics Journal in the year 2020.

  • Paper: “Small-Signal Modeling and Stability Prediction of Parallel Droop-Controlled Inverters Based on Terminal Characteristics of Individual Inverters” (authors: Shike Wang, Zeng Liu, Jinjun Liu, Dushan Boroyevich, Rolando Burgos)
  • Prof Jinjun Liu is a professor of the School of Electrical Engineering at XJTU and is involved in the Polimi-XJTU Double Degree program.
