Politecnico di Milano and Xi’an Jiaotong University have established mobility and double degree agreements at the Master of Science level.
The exchange programs agreements allow you to spend a semester or a full academic year at the partner institution, where you can take exams and/or work on your thesis. The exams taken at the host university can be recognized by the home university thanks to an agreement that you will sign together with representatives of both institutions, known as the Learning Agreement.
The double degree agreements provide for the awarding of two academic titles: one from the home university and one from the host university. The required workload is higher than that of a traditional Master of Science program and entails the acquisition of 150 ECTS credits. Typically, you are required to spend three semesters at the partner university.
At the same time, the skills acquired—not only academic, but also cultural, linguistic, and interpersonal—represent a significant added value when entering the job market.
