How can you apply for international mobility programs?
You have two options:
Participating in the first call for international mobility, published between late November and early January.
Or participating in the second call, scheduled for April, only if you are interested in starting in the second semester. However, please note that availability of places at this stage is not guaranteed.

After the selection
If you are selected for an academic exchange program, you must complete a series of procedures within specific deadlines.

Are there other opportunities to travel to Xi’an, besides the international mobility call?
Yes, but only if you plan to go to Xi’an to work on your thesis:
- you can apply for the Politecnico’s “Thesis abroad” scholarship’s call, which is published approximately twice a year, typically in March and November.
- you can go as a Free Mover, supported by a scholarship from XJTU. For more information, refer to the section dedicated to Free Movers, including the university guidelines, and contact: progetto-xian@polimi.it
